The 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms was released on Thursday, and the biggest news was that Optimizely surpassed Adobe as the top leader for the first time in five years. This was also the 6th consecutive time that Optimizely was recognized as a Leader by Gartner.
The 2025 report also included Builder.io, Contentful, Contentstack, Pimcore, and Uniform Systems, while Bloomreach and Crownpeak dropped out.
“2024 was a huge year for us with lots of innovation and growth, including the launch of the SaaS version of our CMS. We believe that this acknowledgment from Gartner cements that we’re on the right track to truly making the lives of marketers better through Optimizely One. The industry needed a shakeup and I’m excited about the compelling choice that’s now available to the largest enterprise customers looking for a new DXP,” said Optimizely President, Shafqat Islam.
Elsewhere, Sitecore announced 100% revenue growth for XM Cloud in 2024, Bloomreach expanded to Spain and Italy, and Netlify has added AI agents to its platform.
