Problems for monolithic CMSs

Storyblok recently released the results of a survey of 300 IT and marketing leaders from global brands. The research shows that traditional monolithic CMS platforms, such as WordPress and Sitecore, are failing teams today. 93% of respondents were frustrated with limited integration options with other services and tools in their tech stack, while 38% needed a better integration experience.
“This survey shows that many companies are hitting the limits of their current CMS. They are dreaming of a CMS that’s keeping all their systems in sync without constant workarounds,” said Storyblok CEO Dominik Angerer.
Elsewhere, the ‘Shopify for B2B transactions’ completed a pre-seed round, but there is another twist in the WP Engine vs Automattic saga, and Payload CMS has added some new upgrades.
