Headless CMS vendor Sanity says that CMSes are broken. Because of this, they’re launching the Content Operating System and completed an $85M Series C funding round to help them realize their new vision. The round was led by Bullhound Capital and participated in by Heavybit, Threshold, ICONIQ Growth, Shopify Blue Cloud Ventures, and Monochrome Ventures.
“It’s an engineering platform built on the principle that Content is Data, and data can shape how your business operates at scale. We’re taking our offering to the next level by completing the missing pieces of our vision. Sanity is The Content Operating System you need––to accelerate your digital journey and drive consistent and efficient content operations at scale,” said Magnus Hillestad, co-founder and CEO at Sanity.
Elsewhere, Strapi unveiled a ton of new features at the recently concluded StrapiConf; Bloomreach has partnered with gamification and loyalty platform Captain Up, and adopting composable digital experiences could drive fanatical loyalty.
