Forrester Wave for B2B Commerce Solutions Released

Salesforce and commercetools named among Leaders

Analyst firm Forrester recently released its Forrester Wave™: Commerce Solutions For B2B, Q2 2024. The Wave provides a mix of traditional and MACH-focused vendors, with Shopify, Salesforce, commercetools, and Adobe mentioned among the Leaders.

“The B2B commerce solutions market is no longer “a tale of two cities,” stuck between choosing either cloud architecture or robust features,” said Forrester Principal Analyst Joe Cicman.

“Collectively, the vendors have closed the chasm: The new-school cloud-native vendors have invested in features — and the stalwarts have invested in modernized architecture. You can breathe a sigh of relief that in your next selection, you won’t have to make the choice of that painful trade-off,” he added.

Elsewhere, a composable CMS option for Headless Drupal is now available, EPAM has achieved commercetools platinum partner status, and BigCommerce launches a new open-source B2B buyer portal.
