commercetools Appoints New COO

Matt Tuel takes on the role

Digital commerce vendor commercetools has appointed Matt Tuel as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Tuel will oversee global operations, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic growth initiatives. Previous COO and co-founder Denis Werner will assume the Chief Information Security and Compliance Officer (CISCO) role. 

“With his deep expertise in guiding venture-backed companies like Profitero, Logentries, and Affinnova through pivotal growth stages, Matt is uniquely equipped to accelerate the operational excellence and strategic focus we’ve built at commercetools,” said commercetools CEO Andrew Burton. 

Elsewhere, Optimizely takes home several TrustRadius awards, Adobe and AWS partner up, and a new Gartner report has the DX industry talking.
