Commercetools Announces New CEO

A third major hire in the last 18 months

Composable commerce vendor commercetools has appointed a new CEO. Senior business executive Andrew Burton has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) succeeding Dirk Hoerig, who will remain on the Board and transition to the role of Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) instead.

“Throughout our search for the right leader to continue driving our innovative infrastructure forward, Andrew stood out as the clear choice to complement our executive team and lead commercetools into its next chapter of growth and expansion,” said commercetools CIO & Co-Founder, Dirk Hoerig.

Elsewhere, Kentico is celebrating its recognition in the G2 Grid Report for Digital Experience Platforms Summer 2024, Strapi 5 is released with a host of new features, and the discussion about the universal CMS concept has seen some back and forth on LinkedIn.
