60% Adoption of MACH Architecture in Cloud-Based Commerce Solutions by 2027

Gartner makes the bold prediction

MACH architecture has been a key talking point in the DX industry for a few years, and Gartner’s latest report highlights how widely adopted it has become. The MACH Alliance highlights Gartner’s “When Should Applications Use a MACH Architecture Approach” report, which states that “by 2027, at least 60% of new B2C and B2B digital commerce solutions, developed for the cloud, will be aligned with MACH architecture principles.”

Elsewhere, Builder.io recently secured $20M in funding from Microsoft’s M12 venture capital fund, and the universal CMS concept is sparking interesting discussions among CMS vendors and practitioners.
